'Will make Pakistan a loan-free state,' says Sirajul Haq
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq said on Wednesday their government could make Pakistan a “loan-free” state as the country had 65per cent skilled youngsters.
In a statement, the emir said the JI being a religious party had helped Muslims as well as Non-Muslims in times of need. He added, “If their party comes into power, they would precisely focus on the agriculture sector, education would be free for all and health services would be the responsibility of the state.”
He slammed the PDM government over the seat reservation for overseas Pakistanis and not providing enough support to orphans and differently-abled people. Mr Haq also said their party made Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) a “loan-free” province, though currently, it owed Rs1 trillion.”
Furthermore, the emir said “Pakistan has a very strong and skilled youth and cities such as Kalaam, Murree and Malam Jabba are an embodiment of beauty in the world. The country has rich resources including coal and gold, and the state has powerful foreign ambassadors in the form of overseas Pakistanis.”
